Onboard Maritime is pleased to announce it is now an SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) Approved Centre. SQA offers globally recognised qualifications and we are delighted to have passed their approval process.
Our focus is on digital education for the maritime industry. We bridge the gap between classroom-based studies and the skills required to work and progress in the shipping industry today. Gaining this accreditation strengthens our objective in closing this gap and allows us to provide accessible qualifications to more maritime professionals globally.
Ensuring that personal circumstances are not a barrier to learning is a fundamental part of our mission. Our qualifications are delivered online and are fully supported by maritime education experts. Activities are structured around our learners’ individual working environments and our comprehensive feedback allows for the development and progression of the individual.
We are currently offering the Professional Development Award (PDA) in Introductory Leadership and Management. This PDA has been designed for those who are at the start of their leadership journey or in their first leadership position. This qualification is jointly certificated with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
The award is delivered flexibly and will help employers meet skills gaps and provide continuing professional development for their staff, while learners will gain the knowledge and skills needed to progress in their career.
